Jason Delgado, MBA

Mr. Delgado is a Texas native and started working in community association management in 2007 after finishing his undergraduate degree in International Business Administration from the University of The Incarnate Word. Since then Mr. Delgado has worked in nearly every position within HOA and Condominium Association management from Community Manager, to general ledger accountant, to Chief Executive. Early in his career, while working full time as an executive for an HOA Management firm, he also worked nights on his graduate degree and in 2011 went on to obtain his Masters in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

In the decades to follow, Mr. Delgado has continued to apply that knowledge guiding thousands of HOAs/COAs Board Members and overseeing hundreds of thousands of homeowners in matters of operations, risk, insurance, and financial management. Over the years he has been a pivotal figure in the legislative sphere, representing homeowners associations across Texas to the Texas Legislature. His contributions in this arena are profound; he played a crucial role in drafting and refining much of the legislation that continues to shape the governance of HOAs today.

He has also worked with community association insurance for nearly two decades and even holds an insurance license for Property and Casualty insurance. He is one of very few HOA and Insurance professionals who specialize in understanding the nuances of homeowners association and condominium insurance coverages and uses it daily to help communities to thrive.

In 2016, after nearly a decade working side by side, he and his long-time business partner John Elmore formed Rise Association Management Group aiming to bring their personal touch, business expertise, and commitment to service and disciplined execution to community management. Over recent years he has helped to guide these communities through law reforms, hurricanes, fires, floods, ice storms, the pandemic, and nearly every other challenge conceivable over the course of the last decades.

In his personal life he is an avid reader and endurance athlete specializing in long-distance running. Most recently he finished the Chevron Houston Marathon in a personal best 3 hours and 38 minutes.

He is also an outdoorsman and enjoys fly fishing, scuba diving, and hunting. He has worked with various Veterans Groups to assist soldiers interested in learning to dive. He is also a musician and played for the Summit Christian Center for many years as an acoustic guitarist. He is now the proud father of a husky rescue named Odysseus.
